The IDHSNA Board has voted to include the Horse Sport Ireland’s rule for purebred progeny of all Purebreds except Class 3... Inspection Amnesty will run from 2017 to 2021 (inclusive), which will allow purebreds to be presented for inspection for Class 1 providing they are registered in the Main Section of the Irish Draught Horse Studbook. Purebreds descended from parents that are entered in the main section of the studbook (i.e., registered and classified as RID, CLASS 1, CLASS 2, AID or GRADE UP, ID, CLASS 4 or Uninspected) and have a pedigree established according to the rules of the studbook (i.e., DNA tested) are eligible. The progeny of Irish Draught Horse stallions/mares of CLASS 3 in the Irish Draught Studbook are not eligible for inspection.
In addition, purebreds born 2017 through 2021 (inclusive) and descended from parents that are entered in the main section of the studbook (i.e., registered and classified as RID, CLASS 1, CLASS 2, AID or GRADE UP, ID, CLASS 4 or Uninspected) and have a pedigree established according to the rules of the studbook (i.e., DNA tested) will be eligible for inspection for Class 1 for their lifetimes.
